THE VIRTUAL SHOWCASE OF "ROSSTERRACOTTA"
Welcome to the Ross Terracotta virtual showcase, behind which there is me, Rossana, who has always loved ceramics.
After attending an artistic workshop for a long time, like many other passionate ones, I created my own personal space / workshop in the home. Place where I take refuge and where working clay, decorating it and giving glaze, I give life to my creations.
Starting from traditional furnishing objects such as plates, vases, cachepots, valet trays, paintings and much more, I gradually specialized in the creation of typically Neapolitan and auspicious themed creations.
This is how the first red horns, horseshoes, vesuviets, little San Gennaro were born... In the very last period then, I am fulfilling my dream: to make handcrafted jewelry.
Without abandoning my passion for traditional objects, today I create necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, with a process that goes from the conception of the jewel to its concrete realization.
I model by hand small and light clay elements (white, red, refractory), and then I decorate them, glaze them or crystallize them. Subsequently I dedicate myself to the realization of my creation, using the modeled elements, threads and cords of various colors and materials, and always with an eye to the quality of the products used, I create and give life to original unique pieces.
